Twin Cities PBS and Zeitgeist Arts Cafe invite you to an evening of film and discussion from Minnesota’s LGBTQ+ past, including clips from Out North and stories from women who created off-the-grid communities in the 1970s in the spirit of the “Back to the Land” movement. Join us for a reception at 5 p.m., followed by clips from Out North and a conversation with Out North producer, Daniel Bergin, along with Diana Hunter and Shirley Duke, who are both featured in the film.

From Twin Cities PBS, Out North: MNLGBTQ History explores the untold past of Minnesota’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community and celebrates the strides the state has made since the gay liberation movement began in the 1970s.
