“A Taste of France” Film & Dinner event are now on sale. “A Taste of France” is the fourth gathering in our ‘Spirit of Duluth Film & Dinner Series’ at Zeitgeist. Join us on Monday, January 15th for an evening curated by some incredible Duluthians who are from the local French-speaking community.

There are two different ways to experience this exciting evening: (1) DINNER & FILM: Enjoy a delicious specially-prepared French dinner at 5:30pm in our Mezzanine featuring gouda stuffed dates, Coq au Vin with Robuchon potatoes, arugula salad with blood orange vinaigrette, French cheese plate, chocolate mouse and coffee (paired wine for purchase). Then attend L’Auberge Espagnole (“The Spanish Apartment” in French with English subtitles) at 7:30pm in the Teatro. (IMPORTANT: If you purchase a dinner ticket, it automatically includes a ticket to the film, so please do not register for both).

OR (2) FILM ONLY Attend L’Auberge Espagnole (“The Spanish Apartment” in French with English subtitles) at 7:30pm in the Zeitgeist Teatro. Attending the film screening is free ($5 suggested donation at the door) but seating is limited so you’ll need to reserve a free ticket below. Following the film, everyone is invited to join us in the atrium for coffee, cookies and a post-film discussion.

“A Taste of France” is part of Zeitgeist’s ‘Spirit of Duluth Dinner & Film Series’ and every month, from October through April 2018, we invite you to experience the culture and insights of some inspiring and truly original Duluth residents through food, film, and personal stories. Through sharing a meal, watching a film and engaging in conversation we can connect with people we might not otherwise meet.

Each event will be uniquely organized and hosted by Duluthians who represent the culture being highlighted and will feature a specially crafted gourmet dinner curated by the host that will allow guests to experience the taste of the cuisine as they hear the story behind it. At Zeitgeist we know that Duluth is stronger as a creative, diverse community. We’re committed to building connections between people of different cultures and encourage you to join us for what is sure to be a fun, informative and culturally rich experience.
