Duluth Aging Support and Zeitgeist Partnership
Our elder community is rich in life experience and wisdom. At Zeitgeist we are actively looking for ways of sharing their perspectives, stories, and experiences. Together, in partnership with Duluth Aging Support, we can all make sure Zeitgeist, Duluth, and NE MN is built for people of all ages and physical abilities. Thank you to Duluth Aging Support for your work. Zeitgeist is proud to be your partner. Below, you’ll find some examples of the work Duluth Aging Support and/or Zeitgeist is engaged in to help gather the stories and perspectives of our elder community, and to share those perspectives in ways that build empathy across communities, and make change throughout our businesses and neighborhoods.

Age Friendly Outreach Specialist
Thanks to our partnership with Duluth Aging Support, Zeitgeist is able to connect with older adults, caregivers, and individuals in underserved neighborhoods throughout Duluth. Our Age-Friendly Outreach Specialist actively engages with the community by tabling at various locations and sharing valuable resources that older adults and caregivers in Duluth need to thrive. Thank you to Duluth Aging Support for making this important role possible at Zeitgeist. MN Grandfamilies Project
Over six million children rely on grandfamilies for love, care, and stability. This commitment requires grandparents and extended family members to courageously step in when children need them most, often in the most trying times. Their courageous act often comes with legal, financial, and emotional challenges. By taking the time to understand and support grandfamilies, you can make a profound difference in their lives and your community as a whole.
The Northland Diversity in Aging Series explores issues of aging in NE MN, starting with the role grandfamilies play across our state. Check out the video below, then follow this link to the NDIA website and see the full story of grandfamilies throughout MN.
