BAR NOW OPEN FRIDAYS
Zeitgeist’s bar will now be open Fridays during Gumbo Boi’s curbside pickup hours, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Beer and wine will be available with curbside pickup orders, or folks can dine at a socially distanced table in the bar or atrium for the first time since August. New Orleans inspired cocktails will be available for those who dine in house.
All Zeitgeist staff, servers and cooks have been trained to follow the most up to date COVID-19 guidelines including masking, social distancing and handwashing. To minimize contact, drink orders will be placed at the bar as opposed to table service.
There are several sanitation stations throughout the Zeitgeist building, and masks are required aside from when customers are seated at their table eating or drinking. Customers are encouraged to pay via credit card.
CURRENT POP UP RESTAURANTS
KITCHEN SPACE
AVAILABLE FOR RENT
Zeitgeist Restaurant & Bar has commercial kitchen space available for rent to be used as a startup space or for prep work.
Since closing the restaurant for regular operations in late August, Zeitgeist has formed a partnership with Gumbo Boi. As his name suggests, Gumbo Boi is originally from Louisiana and has been cooking up creole and cajun favorites twice a week since October.
Since this pop-up model has proven to be successful, Zeitgeist is now looking for other community members interested in a similar set up. The kitchen is now available for rent for one to two renters, depending on how the space will be used.
Renters will need to coordinate kitchen time and adhere to all COVID-19 safety guidelines. The space will be available for the next five to six months.
