IMPROV CLASSES
IMPROV 1

Sundays at 4-5:30pm (March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 22, May 4, & 11)
Improv 1 is an introduction to improv concepts such as “Yes, and”, creating and knowing the environment, and characterization. This intro course is perfect for people who want to learn and practice the basics from the beginning or just looking for a fun and creative outlet.
IMPROV 2

Improv 2 is a faster paced improv class that will teach improv concepts through learning and practice of improv games and styles. This course is great for people with a base knowledge and comfort level to hit the ground running.

“Women Only” is an improv class for female-identifying players looking for a fun, exploratory, safe place with elements of performance, creativity, and spontaneity. This class will uplift, build confidence, and add the infamous, “yes and” to your everyday life. Low stakes, big fun, come learn the basics of improv with Duluth’s very own, living comedy legend, Katy Helbacka.

Renegade Improv will come to YOU and give your private event a heavy dose of hilarity!
Renegade is the area’s only resident improv team that performs every Friday at 10:00PM at Zeitgeist. We perform game style improv (think “Whose Line is it Anyway?”) that offers lots of room for audience participation. Everything is made up on the spot, meaning the performance can be custom tailored to your company, event, or private party.
